Swimming Gala Saturday 12th March 2016 By Callum D on 1 March 2016 (updated 4 March 2022) In public Light Blue Troop / Calling all Scouts. Get involved in the Wharfedale District Scout Swimming Gala. You will see on the latest programme that the Scout Troop will be participating in the Wharfedale District Scout Swimming Gala to be held at the Craven Pool in Skipton on Saturday 12th March 2016. We really encourage your children to get involved. This is a chance to be involved in a brilliant local District event, one of the major events of the year, and a great experience. As well as some friendly competition there is a chance to represent our Troop, meet other Scouts from across the District and experience participation in such an event involving many young people from our local area. As a reminder, Scouts should be dropped off at the pool at 17:30 and collected at 20:00. However Parents, why not show your support for our Scouts and Scouting across Wharfedale by staying and cheering them on. We look forward to seeing lots of Scouts participate and some great support from Parents. If you have any questions about the event, please do ask a Leader.
