Summer camp update By Callum D on 25 July 2016 (updated 4 March 2022) In public Light Blue Troop / The first couple of days on summer camp have gone well, and the weather is being kind to us. We arrived on site on Saturday afternoon and began the set up of camp. All the tents and shelters were up by Saturday evening and we were able to enjoy a welcome camp fire and give the Scouts from 1st Ben Rhydding and 2nd Jersey to get to know each other. On Sunday we spent time learning and practicing camping skills and getting all the tents and kitchen areas ship shape. Today we have been down to the beach and spent some time in Alnwick to buy dinner based on the scouts own menus. Some photos below.
