Remembrance Sunday – fantastic turnout!

Both Light and Dark Blue troops did the Group proud on Sunday.

Fantastic turnout and for each and every Scout a huge well done for attending and showing that those who died in the Great Wars have not been forgotten by you.

History of Hag Dyke

A few years ago Peter Smith documented Hag Dyke’s history. He spent many months talking to people who knew Hag Dyke, had involvement with Hag Dyke or had visited Hag Dyke over the years. The resulting book has kindly been made available to Hag Dyke so that you can download it and read it yourselves. This is the second edition updated and revised in 2023.

The weather has been excellent this weekend for the Light Blue and Dark Blue weekend at the Hostel.

Let’s hope the weather holds out today.

Cold wintry conditions makes the annual January Hag Dyke and whilst the amount of snow was limited it didn’t stop the Scouts have a great weekend.
