    Great weekend at Hag Dyke with the scouts demonstrating their map reading skills during Saturday’s hike. They also completed a series of fun team building challenges working within their patrols – a blind folded water carry, lead mine weigh in, and hypothermia simulation!   • Summer Camp 2017

    Everyone has had a fantastic time with loads of activities. A dry last few days enjoyed by all. Almost all packed and ready to get home!

  • Summer Camp update

    Had a calm ferry journey and all arrived safely. Tents pitched in the dry and a few good games had. Now trying to stay dry as it rains, but everyone is still in good spirits!

1st Ben Rhydding Scouts is part of the Ben Rhydding (De Mohicanen) Scout & Guide Group.

Our headquarters are on Wheatley Lane in Ben Rhydding and the scout section is for boys and girls aged 10½ to 14.

Week in, week out, we do scouting as best we can; everything from camping to pioneering, and global issues to cooking.

We help develop the young people of today into the best people they can be tomorrow.

    It’s a gorgeous day up the Dale and all the kids are out of bed outside and ready for the days activities!!

    Fantastic turnout and for each and every Scout a huge well done for attending and showing that those who died in the Great Wars have not been forgotten by you.
