Due to Hag Dyke weekend next week there will be NO meeting at the scout hut.

This weeks scout meeting will take place for BOTH light and dark blue troops between 6pm and 8.30pm at the Scout Hut.

One group will be helping the Ilkley Round Table Santa Float with another group learning Hag Dyke cooking skills.

It is a non-uniform evening (necker only) and scouts must dress in warm outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear.

Please arrive for a prompt 6pm start.

If your Child wishes to attend Hag Dyke in January please can you return the permission to camp form and a cheque as per the form for £30 by next Friday.

If you are unable to return it next Friday you can post the form and the cheque through the letter box of 14 Cheltenham Avenue.

This week we have confirmed the site for Summer camp 2018.

We are going to be camping near Carsington Water in Derbyshire.  The date of the camp is July 28th – August 4th 2018.

We will be sending a letter in the next couple of weeks asking for names interested in attending and for a non-returnable deposit by the end of January 2018.

The camp will cost no more than £150.

We hope this will allow you to plan for the rest of your Holidays.

January sees the Troop Annual Christmas trip to Hag Dyke.

If your child is keen to attend please can you complete and return the Permission Form together with a cheque for £30 by December 1st 2017.

Just a reminder that on Sunday 12th November it is the Remembrance Parade in Ilkley.

Please meet at Whitton Croft Road (behind the library) at 2.30pm. Service is at 3pm at the Cenotaph . Please come in full uniform with polished black shoes!! Please collect your child from here after the service – approx 3.30pm.

Light Blue – Buffalo, Cobra & Hawk

Dark Blue – Owl, Kestrel & Lion

All other dates will be a joint activity (DB & LB)
